Folake Kuye was born in bronx, NY, but grew up all over the world. Her knowledge and admiration for different cultures is vividly displayed in her work. She loves to play with and put together unlikely colors and fabrics - which makes her work very unique, yet it's her accesories which set her work apart.

Folake started her journey at the very tender age of 15. After graduating from high school, she went off to a Nigerian school of fashion. At 21, she created her own line and has been designing ever since. In addtion, she has been hired to style celebrities for award show, editiorials, commercials and films. Folake received a styling certificate from Fred Segal Beauty and her works have been seen in the likes of W Magazine, Lemonade, Mitsibushi, Urban Outfitters, Moi, Sweet, Day O Productions, and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II, to mention a few.
